Los Angeles-based Twistbox Entertaiment is announcing this morning that it has raised $12.75M in a venture capital round led by Spark Capital. The newly formed company will provide mobile web sites, mobile TV channels, and mobile games. Twistbox will become the parnet company of WAAT Media, an adult mobile conten firm, and Charismatix, a mobile games development company. Ian Aaron has also been named CEO of the firm. Charismatix develops J2ME, BRew, and DoJa wireless games.
