SWIPE USA Launches ATM Acquisition Division, Looks to Expand Nationwide
Financial Industry Executive, Danny Parker to Lead Expansion of Swipe’s ATM Portfolio
(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) April 4, 2005 – SWIPE USA, a leading Bay Area ATM management firm, today announced the launch of an ATM Acquisition Division that will concentrate on building the companies portfolio nationwide. Currently the firm has machines located in six U.S. states with the majority held in California. The firm is looking for a national footprint and specifically looking to purchase ATM portfolios as a means to an end.
The company with headquarters in San Francisco is pleased with its 2004 acquisition of Intellicash and hopes that the deal will spur a new model of ATM Acquisitions. Swipe USA CEO Ron Christensen mentions that, “the ideal targets will be ATM assets not whole companies, national areas with a critical mass, and ATM portfolios which range in size between 50-500 machines.”
Swipe USA’s newest division will be guided by Danny Parker, a veteran of the Financial Services industry. Mr. Parker will drive the company’s sales and business development efforts, while managing SWIPE’s portfolio of ATM companies. In his new capacity, Mr. Parker will also be responsible for negotiating partnerships and alliances, analyzing operations, projecting sales forecasts, and performing company valuations.
With over 20 years of experience in financial and strategic consulting, Mr. Parker has served as CFO for two startup companies, Assistant Treasurer and Strategic Planning Manager for a Fortune 1000 construction materials firm, and corporate attorney with one of the largest law firms in California. Additionally, he has provided strategic and financial consulting to high tech startups and record labels.
“Having Mr. Parker on board to head our new division is directly in line with our company’s strategic growth efforts,” said Ron Christensen, CEO of SWIPE USA. “We feel that Danny’s proven track record of working with emerging technology brands, and his understanding of the financial services industry, will be a tremendous asset as we look to expand SWIPE’s reach into new markets.”
SWIPE USA ATMs combine a wide range of banking services into a 5” by 3” sq ft. of space. The small footprint makes SWIPE USA ATM machines ideal for consumer retail environments, and allows store merchants to increase revenue from their operations.
