Sameer Bhatia

Sameer is a serial entrepreneur and the CEO of Octane Technologies, a San Francisco-based mobile gaming company with operations in Mumbai. Octane develops and ports games for top publishers such as Gameloft, Superscape, Real Networks, Infospace, Exit Games, and Skyzone Mobile, amongst others. It has worked with Musicland to launch the American Idol and Jay-Z branded cell phones; a San Francisco marketing agency that manages online promotions for clients including Boeing, AT&T Wireless, and Dole Foods; the largest US retailer for the Dish Network and DirecTV; and a number of Silicon Valley startups as well. Prior to founding Octane, Sameer co-founded Product Acceleration, Inc., an EDA company providing major electronics manufacturers with software to slash their product design times and MonkeyBin, an online barter community powered by an innovative multiparty trading engine. Sameer started his career in management consulting and has also helped launch the American India Foundation (www.aifoundation.org) a non-profit foundation founded by former President Clinton. He graduated with Honors from Stanford University and has completed coursework at Oxford University and the Institute for Social Studies in The Hague.
