San Francisco-Based Mochi Media Raises $10 Million in Second Round

San Francisco -- Mochi Media, the San Francisco-based developer of an online games advertising network, said on Thursday that it has raised $10 million in its second round of funding, led by Shasta Ventures. Previous investor Accel Partners also participated in the round, which the company will use to grow its platform of tools and services for the game development community. Launched in October, the company's flagship MochiAds game distribution and ad network now reaches over 60 million unique users a month. The company also has developed a Flash analytics product and a free service that allows publishers to search, add and monetize Mochi's catalog of games. "This capital will help us move forward in key areas of our business," said Jameson Hsu, Mochi Media's CEO.
