About The American Democracy Institute

The American Democracy Institute (ADI) is dedicated to engaging, educating and empowering a new generation of Americans that will expand the circle of opportunity, equality and justice. The American Democracy Institute was founded on the belief that given the opportunity, information and resources, young people can be a powerful force for social and political change in our democracy. ADI is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization comprised of a network of young leaders and activists from various fields including business, academia, nonprofit, government and more. We strive to expand this network by educating and engaging young people to become more aware of the issues and ideas that affect their lives. Through our live programs and online content, we are creating meaningful opportunities for traditionally non-participating individuals as well as underrepresented communities to learn about the issues that impact their future and highlight opportunities to participate in the democratic process.
