Faith West has released mXMFTool, a new product promising improvement in audio quality. mXMFTool leverages open standards, allowing developers to create ringtones, mobile game audio and other applications. Faith West is also bundling a library of 125 royalty-free mobile game audio sound effects with mXMFTool, making it easier for developers to enhance the mobile game experiences for their consumers. The in-house sound files include animal noises, human actions, sports effects, weapons, vehicular noises and environmental sounds in standard Mobile DLS format.

? Sennari and Xero Mobile have announced a partnership where Sennari's mobile 2.0 platform will power Xero Mobile's ad-subsidized phone service. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Sennari said its mobile marketing platform stores user profile and asset information on a user opt-in basis. Targeted to the 17.3 million-strong college market, Xero offers subsidized wireless services. In return, students agree to accept a number of relevant ads on their handsets each day.

? Intervoice announced the latest release of its unified communications platform for service providers, Media Exchange with HomeZone. Intervoice enhanced the platform to include leading-edge technology to enable multimodal applications as part of the HomeZone personal interaction framework. Intervoice offers a suite of applications including voicemail, videomail, voice SMS, voice to MMS, address book and calendar. HomeZone helps subscribers manage important personal data, such as log-ins and profiles, contacts and greetings.
