Public Relations Junior Media Consultant (intern)

Currently VSC is located in San Francisco and London with clients across North America and Europe. Many of our clients are on the cutting edge of Web 2.0, Mobile Content, New Media, Entertainment and Technology industries, and could benefit from your expertise, creativity, and energy to help them achieve their marketing goals.

This internship for students, currently in its 6th year, will offer you first of it's kind insight into how Fortune 100 Brands all the way down to basement start-ups, utilize the power of digital marketing and public relations to become industry leaders. The experience you will gain as a Junior Media Consultant (JMC) will allow you to apply innovating marketing and communication design skills to any future career you pursue. Historically VSC has also hired former JMCs on after college.

We are looking for bright young minds to assist us in all facets of developing and maintaining award winning communication and marketing programs.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and HTML skills.
• Excellent internet research skills
• Experience with using blogs and online social networking services
• Familiarity with myspace, utube, php/sql and basic web development skills required
• Sophomores & Juniors preferred

Job Type: Part Time, Internship, Paid - The work hours are flexible, as is the commuting.

Start Date: Rolling

Consulting Term: TBD

Salary: Competitive with travel reimbursements
